HASTINGS PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA

We are delighted to welcome Hastings Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Marcio da Silva and featuring Romon Kosyakov (winner of Hastings International Piano Competition 2018). They will be playing Dvorak’s Serenade for Strings, Mozart’s Symphony no. 29 in A major and Mozart’s Piano Concerto K414.

“Kindred Spirits” – Piano Duets by Emma Abbate and Julian Perkins playing pieces by
Mozart, Clementi, von Weber, Ravel, Rachmaninov and Grieg. Many of you will
remember these fine musicians from their two previous concerts.

BENYOUNES STRING QUARTET

We welcome much acclaimed Benyounes String Quartet playing the following
quartets: Beethoven’s Serioso opus 95, Haydn’s opus 77 no. 2, and Debussy’s opus
10.

FLORIAN MITREA with THE ATEA WIND QUINTET
Thursday 1st July 7:30
Our old friends, Florian Mitrea and the Atea Wind Quintet, will continue their exciting journey through the repertoire for piano and wind playing: Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata and his Quintet for Piano and Woodwind opus 16 with their own adaption of Holst’s Planets Suite for Piano and Wind Quintet.
