MARCIO DA SILVA – THE HASTINGS PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA -with BOYAN IVANOV

We welcome back Marcio da Silva conducting and featuring Clarinettist Boyan Ivanov. They will play: Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings, Bassi/Verdi’s Fantasy on Rigoletto, Elgar’s Serenade for Strings and Sibelius’s Romance.

FLORIAN MITREA with the ATÉA WIND QUINTET
Sunday 26th June 7pm
Our old friends Florian Mitrea accompanied by the Atéa wind quintet will continue the exploration of music for Piano and Wind.
They will play: Enescu’s Romanian Rhapsody no.1, Liszt’s Hungarian Rhapsody no. 5 and Spanish Rhapsody, Debussy’s Premiere Rhapsodie for clarinet and piano, Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue and a Wind Quintet.

Paul will play Chopin’s Ballade no.4, Debussy’s 1st Arabesque and Clair de Lune plus Liszt’s 3 Petrarch Sonnets. He will talk about his passion for Liszt’s work and launch his new book on the composer.

MARCIO DA SILVA – BOSSA NOVA NIGHT
Thursday 30th June 7:30
A mesmerising evening of Bossa Nova, Samba and Choro. Brazilian born Marcio da Silva (Voice) and guitarist Ariel Gragnani will be joined by clarinettist Boyan Ivanov and percussionist Emmanuel MacDonald to share their favourites with us ( including Corcovado, Girl from Ipanema and Desafinado).

OPERA SUPPER
Saturday 2nd July 7:30
Opera Supper featuring Charlotte Shaw, Charlotte Wicks and Adam Marsden with Arran Keith and Mark Bromley on piano. Lots of favourites from operas by Verdi, Mozart, Donizetti, Bernstein and Gershwin. Plus a delicious supper prepared by Adam Newington.

RICHARD EVANS & THE TRINITY MUSIC ACADEMY
Sunday 3rd July 4pm
Richard Evans will return with some of the amazingly talented young musicians from Trinity Music Academy.
